Thursday morning Scott and I found out that I'm pregnant. Finding out flooded us with a wide array of emotions from sheer joy to disbelief to panic and back to excitement. The due date for now is November 22. We are so thankful! Thank you Lord for your blessings! Yesterday we spent hours learning about what to expect in the first trimester. Such fun! We are awed by the Creator who is forming this new little one inside of me. WOW.
Thank you for your continued prayers as the coming months unfold that God will give us more clarity in regards to employment and other transitions. We continue to wait upon the Lord and trust His provision in our lives. What He has in store for us after June (when my teaching contract ends) is yet to be seen. But we are leaning into God who Knows all things and is working out His plans for us. We are it seems, in a constant state of surrendering our fears and stress to Him. And just now as He has blessed us with a new little life on the way, we surrender him/her back to God, for that's where we are as well after all...in His loving hands.

A big congrats to you guys! Being a parent is the single best thing in this world. :) Enjoy every moment (even the ones that don't seem too enjoyable).
